CSK’s Ben Stokes to miss latter stages of IPL 2023

All-rounder Ben Stokes will miss the final stages of the Indian Premier League (IPL) to prepare for the English Test summer that includes the home Ashes series.

Stokes, who missed the last season of the IPL, was bought by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for Rs. 16.25 crore for the upcoming season.

The IPL is scheduled to start on March 31 and will go on until May 28. The English home summer begins with the Test against Ireland on June 1.
