Hello and welcome to Sportstar’s LIVE coverage of IPL 2020, Match 54 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai at 7:30 PM.
KKR 100/5 in 13 overs: Rahul Tewatia has put Rajasthan on top as the spinner removes Dinesh Karthik for a duck. Karthik tried to flick but ends up getting an inside edge that flew straight into the hands of Steve Smith at mid-wicket.
KKR 94/4 after 12 overs: Shreyas Gopal has further dented Kolkata by dismissing Tripathi, who looked in good shape, until he tried to clear deep square leg where Ron Uthappa took an excellent running catch.
KKR 88/3 after 11 overs: Excellent change in variation from Tewatia as he denies Morgan any room and bowls wide when the KKR skipper charged down the track. Just 4 off the over.
KKR 84/3 after 10 overs: Eoin Morgan gets hold of a Kartik Tyagi short ball and pulls over fine leg to give Kolkata some momentum.
KKR 68/1 after 8 overs: Tripathi and Gill motoring on nicely and Kolkata going at a fair clip with the run-rate touching nearly nine.
KKR 64/1 after 7 overs: Tripathi is in the mood today as he dispatches Rahul Tewatia into the long-on stands and what a brilliant recovery this has been from Kolkata.
KKR 55/1 after 6 overs: Tripathi and Gill have made the recovery and have negated the fall of Nitish Rana for a duck.
KKR 43/1 after 5 overs: Tripathi has launched Stokes over the deep backward square for a maximum and Kolkata is up and running.
KKR 32/1 after 4 overs: Shubman Gill on the attack as he smacks Shreyas Gopal for two boundaries – first goes over mid-off and then tonks over long-on. Tripathi gets into the act by sweeping through the deep mid-wicket region and then pulls through mid-wicket to make it 17 off the over.
KKR 15/1 after 3 overs: Excellent over by Archer as he gives just a couple of runs and Rahul Tripathi gets off the mark with a single.
KKR 13/1 after 2 overs: Shubman Gill gets going with two cracking boundaries and punishes Varun Aaron for a 12-run over.
KKR 1/1 after 1 over: Jofra Archer strikes early and he removes Nitish Rana for a duck. Rana wasted a review too as he clearly nicked the delivery but still went for the review.
