India won the toss and opted to bat vs Bangladesh
India have made three changes, bringing in Shafali Verma, Kiran Navgire and Sneh Rana for Harmanpreet, D Hemalatha and Radha Yadav, who are all out with niggles. Bangladesh, meanwhile, have brought in allrounder Lata Mondal in place of wicketkeeper-batter Shamima Sultana.
While Shafali was not part of the XI during India’s previous match against Pakistan, she kept gloves when wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh was off the field due to a heat-related issue.
Mandhana said it was a “good wicket to bat on” during the toss, adding that India will be targeting a score of 140-plus.
After winning three matches on the trot, India lost to Pakistan on Friday but are still on top of the table with six points. Bangladesh, meanwhile, are at No. 4 on four points with two wins, against Malaysia and Thailand, and a loss against Pakistan.
